Grilled Salmon with Mariande Recipe
Its a recipe for six person, very delicious and good to be served when you have guests with great expectations. This recipe is served in most meditarenean restaurants from Europe.
Ingredients
2.21 pounds of salmon fillet
4 oz butter
Green and red pepper, both grains and milled
4 cloves garlic
2 oz horseradish
Salt
1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
3-4 salvia leafs
water
2 leafs of laurel
juice from 2 lemons
Directions
Pass the salmon pieces through a water jet, anoint them with olive oil and add some salt and pepper. Reel them in plastic foil and put them in the fridge for few minutes.
The marinade: Put some water in a pan and then add salt and pepper, oil, pepper grains, the blade which was cut into pieces, the garlic, the horseradish rubbed very thin, the paprika, the salvia and the laurel. These are mixed very well and are put to boil for 30 minutes and then let it become cold at room’s temperature.
The salmon pieces are put on the hot grill, 10 minutes on each side, then arranged into a bowl and pour on them the sauce (the marinade).
Tips
Serve the salmon with toast with butter and sprinkle it with lemon sauce. Serve it with a good white quality wine.
